KFC drive-thru

KFC in Birchin Way already has a drive-thru, but is looking to reconfigure its layout. The pay window will move and orders will be collected on the other side of the fast food outlet. There will also be two order bays to allow drivers to wait for orders to the side, instead of causing a queue in the drive-thru.

Council highways has welcomed the suggested changes. “We are aware of queues generated by a combination of fast food establishments on the wider site and out onto the access roads. Any attempt to improve that particular issue is likely to have a positive knock-on impact on the highway network.”
